Day Care

Let us treat your dog like family. Open Tuesday to Friday from 7:15am until 5:30pm. Offering a structured day care program with small play groups, good manners, structured activities, and quiet time in between activities. Experienced and qualified carers always on staff, we take your dog’s health, behaviour, and safety seriously.

Important to note:  not all dogs will enjoy day care, and we want all of our day care dogs to enjoy their visit and (importantly!) benefit from the social interaction. For this reason we ask that if this is your dog’s first visit, please book “Dog Day Care Assessment” instead.

Training is available as an extra add on, for issues such as loose lead walking, impulse control, crate training, recall and other general obedience problems.  If your dog requires specialised behavioural training, please contact us or see our range of classes and courses.

7:15am Doors Open and Drop Off Begins!

Bring your dog inside, a friendly staff member will greet you and help you find a cubby or hook for your dog’s things. Dogs are only allowed to wear quick release collars in the play areas for safety, so we provide a space to store your dog’s collars, leads, harnesses and any special snacks or medications.

9:30am Let the Games Begin!

Play time! Dogs have been separated into their play groups with other dogs that they get along with, high energy games are played along with recall practice. Playtime is closely monitored by staff to ensure dog safety.

10am Reception is Closed.

We lock the doors and focus on the dogs, no new dogs are allowed to enter past 10am to ensure that the dogs can settle into their groups for the day.

11am Wind Down to Calm

Now that we’ve spent that excess energy it’s time to wind down. Toilet trips outside are made and then we begin some calmer focus work, helping the dogs settle down for nap time. If you’ve booked any extra training this is when we will take your dog from the group for some one on one work with one of our dog trainers.

12:30pm Rise and Shine!

Nap time is over, time to wake up and play! Structured games begin, toys are introduced, bubbles are blown. Dogs might change playgroups for a bit of variety. The dogs that have had enough are allowed to continue napping away from the busy bees.

3pm Challenge Accepted!

Time to practice group stays and recalls, mat work and other brain-busters. Our aim is to send home a dog not just tired in body, but tired in the mind as well!

3.30pm Must We Part?

Pick ups begin. Pet Parent’s attempt to convince their dog to say goodbye to new best friends. Play groups get smaller.

5:30pm Pick Ups finish

We say goodbye to the last dog of the day!
