  • – secure flat collar, limited slip collar, head collar, or harness
  • – about 200gm of soft, palatable food treats; some favourites include bbq chicken, chicken loaf, Chunkers. Can be frozen in zip lock bags ahead of time.

In order to ensure that your dog (who may be excited or nervous) will take food treats, please do not feed a meal on the day of class.

Some dogs are highly motivated by toys, but we prefer to begin (at least) with food to avoid some of the potential problems around untrained dogs and toys.

  • – treat tote bag ($40)
  • – food tube ($10)
